Belgian Strong Ale

Ingredients for 5 gallons:

  • 1 lb. Coopers light malt extract
  • 1 2/5 lb. Alexander's pale malt extract
  • 1 lb. corn sugar
  • 2 oz. Chinook hop pellets, 12.5% alpha acid (60 min)
  • Coopers dried ale yeast
  • 3/4 cup corn sugar (to prime)

Boiling time: 60 minutes. Primary fermentation for 7 days at 62°F in glass.
